In a startling turn of events that has left many in disbelief, Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo, the President of Ghana, has come under intense scrutiny for his recent remarks regarding the Akosombo Dam Spillage and its impact on the people of the Volta Region. These comments have not only ignited outrage but have been deemed as inhumane, reckless, and profoundly irresponsible by concerned citizens and observers.
The country has been thrown into disarray, and a sense of chaos prevails, as the nation’s leader appears to be mired in confusion. The consequences of his actions, or inactions, are dire, and there are growing concerns that Ghana is teetering on the brink of disaster, given the evident detachment of the man at the helm of affairs.
The sudden and unexpected Akosombo Dam Spillage has taken everyone by surprise, putting lives and properties at risk. Urgent and extensive precautionary measures are imperative to mitigate this escalating crisis. Many believe that a state of emergency declaration is the prudent course of action to tackle this alarming situation, but the President’s recent visit to the Volta Region has only added fuel to the fire.

Most people have described the recent development in the country as out of control simply because the head of state seems to be in the state of confusion.
The resultant effect is enormous and consequently, if care is not taken, the Country is heading towards a disaster because the man at the helm of affairs has lost it all.
The Akosombo Dam Spillage is a sudden event that has taken almost everyone by surprise. Lives and properties are in jeopardy as more and more precautionary measures are needed to put the alarming situation under Control.
A Country like Ghana should have declare a state of emergency for more proactive measures in order to curb such alarming and worsening situation currently facing the affected victims of the Dam Spillage.
The head of state has rather chosen to add more insults to the already ailing situation of the affected victims by his pronouncements when he visited the Volta Region yesterday.
Most people were not surprise about the comment of the president because is his stock in trade and nothing different could have be said by him.
The reckless and irresponsible comments of no vote, no sympathy by the president, is a testament of how he has chosen to govern his people right from 7th January 2017 till date.
The current happenings in every sector of the County is as a result of the irresponsible leadership demonstrated by the president and those he appointed to take charge.
The outcome of such leadership is always a disaster, to say the least.
