Since the role of companies and service providers is to help solve problems, data science can help analyze lots of data to solve problems faster and better. A few years ago, technical solutions could not offer these advantages.

Apart from that, the emergence of ML algorithms in predictive analytics has helped predictive analytics in the industry. But the good thing is we don’t see any signs of poor growth at the company.

The world is witnessing a great demand for data scientist jobs in many fields. According to market researchers, the field on the street can grow significantly.

As demand increases, new job seekers and talent are applying their skills in this field. In addition, data technology creates many job opportunities for new professionals.

In India, for example, the number of jobs is expected to fall to 1.5 percent by the end of 2020. That’s a 62 percent increase from last year, according to a report by Great Learning. In this sector, about 70% of positions are for data scientists with less than 5 years of experience.

According to Great Learning founder Hari Krishnan, organizations in different sectors are adopting new technologies to support their needs and their competitiveness in the market.

As more and more data is generated, more experts are needed to uncover actionable insights for better business decisions. So the good news is that there is an increasing demand for skilled workers in India.

As a result, professionals join this sector to improve their skills and meet the needs of the industry. In 2020, the number of data scientists will increase enormously.

Apart from that, the industry offers an increasing number of these services including retail, media, e-commerce, health, energy, and BFSI. The average salary is up to 14 LPA.

Great Learning also explained that these sectors are facing a major problem, which is the lack of qualified professionals. According to the survey, around 97,000 jobs related to data and analysis are vacant due to the shortage of skilled workers.

According to experts, the benefits of a data science career encourage young people to be part of the team to foster success down the road. Additionally, the report highlights multiple career paths for data scientists, business intelligence developers, data engineers, data analysts, and scientists.

In short, data science offers many opportunities for companies around the world.
