To get a job as a realtor, do the following:

Earn a high school diploma:

Complete your college education first or pass the GED (General Educational Development) test.
Take a Real Estate Course – Then take an associate degree course to learn the fundamentals of the real estate business.


Pass the Real Estate Exam:

After completing the associate degree course, take the real estate exam held by your state.


Get a real estate license:

After passing the real estate exam, you must apply for a work permit in your state. Be prepared to pay your state license fee, which is usually between $100 and $350.


Update your CV:

Once you’re qualified to work in this field, update your resume to reflect your education, degree, and experience.


Work for a Realtor

If you are a licensed real estate agent, you can find a job with a real estate agent who oversees real estate transactions.


Build your network:

To build a list of potential clients, the first network in your community, talk to neighbors or promote your real estate services online or in local publications.
