The District Chief Executive for Afadzato South received a team from the Railway Ministry led by the chief director Mr. Desmond Boateng and the technical advisor to the Minister Mr.Allan Dogah in his office on Thursday the 22nd of July, 2021.

The meeting was to discuss the construction of railway lines that will be passing through the Afadzato south district.
The lines will begin from Accra to Paga passing through Kpeve to Koloenu in the district.
This the DCE believes is going to be a major boost in the economic lives of the people.

This project is one of the initiatives of President Nana Akuffo Addo’s government of which Afafdzato south is a beneficiary.
Also in attendance was the District coordinating director in the person of Mr. Fabian Vorvor and the District Engineer Mr. Michael Enchil.
