There is a ton to learn to become a top leader – Matt Morris

There are 7 key skills from generating leads all the way to training your organization. If you don’t learn these 7 skills, you will struggle, no doubt about it.

But if there were an over-arching “job” you have, it’s pretty simple.

It’s to be a coach.

If you look at the word coach itself, it goes back to the coach & buggy days. The job of the coach was to take people from one place to another… from were they are to where they want to be.

As a leader, your job is to take people “to where they want to be.”

Granted, great leaders inspire people to “be” more than they are now, but in general we want to find out where they want to be and help them get there.

The ONLY reason I became a top earner is because I invested heavily in my own education. Before I was making big money, I bought everything I could get my hands on to learn the secrets.

Because I know the key to success is investing in your most important asset (your mind), you could even say I’m a bit pushy when it comes to helping other people invest in their mind.

The reason I’m aggressive is because, as a coach, I care about those I’m coaching.

If they have a goal to be successful, I’ll ask them this:
(Hint: this is a huge golden nugget for you to use)

Will investing in this upcoming training move you closer to your goal or will staying home and missing it move you closer to your goal?

Guess what the honest answer always is?

You know it – it’s investing in the training.

Every. Single. Time.

So my friend, don’t be wimpy and weak when it comes to helping people get what they want. Sometimes it may require them to get out of their comfort zone. Sometimes it may require you having them think about things differently. Sometimes it may be you having to move them out of scarcity and into abundance.

No matter what, create a massive focus on helping people get from where they are to where they want to be.
