Network Marketing is like learning how to ride a unicycle. (It’s harder than riding a regular bike!)
I’ve had a unicycle for a few years now and I still can’t ride the damn thing.
I was so excited when I got it though. I quickly went to YouTube and started watching videos on the best way to learn how to ride it.
They made it look so easy. I ventured out thinking, “I’m pretty athletic and have good balance so this shouldn’t take too long.”
WRONG!
No matter how many times I tried, the thing got out from underneath me.
I failed over… and over… and over… and over again.
I know beyond a shadow of a doubt it’s possible, but the learning curve is pretty steep.
If I were committed to riding the thing, I know if I got out there for hours a day I’d get the hang of it, and eventually, I’d even make it look super easy.
It’s the same with network marketing. It takes a while to find your balance. It may seem impossible at first, but just like riding a unicycle, you have to know, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that it’s possible.
And YOU, yes YOU, can even make it look easy at some point.
But… you gotta go out there and keep doing the work until you get your “balance”.
That’s how it was for me. It took me 5 years to find my balance. Mostly because I didn’t practice much in the beginning. I wondered if I’d ever figure it out.
When I finally committed to go ALL IN and stop dipping my toe in the water, I found my balance! And have been able to ride with no problem for 19 years now.
You see, once you get your “MLM Balance”, you’ll have it forever.
So have faith, my friend. As hard as it may seem at times, you’ll get the balance if you’ll just practice enough.
