When I got involved in this profession, I thought since I had been through Marine Corps boot camp, I could do anything in the world.

Boy was I wrong.

I got my ass handed to me in network marketing the same way I did in boot camp. I got laughed at, rejected over and over, spent way more than I made for years, and felt like quitting 1,000 times.

But because I was too stubborn to quit, I eventually made it through the other side.

• Full time.
• Then six-figures.
• Then seven.

The reward of living this lifestyle is worth it 1,000 times over. It completely transformed my life.

Today, I’m excited for new network marketers for the challenge they’re about to go through.

I’m excited because that’s how transformation works. You have to be pushed, challenged, and in many cases, go through pain to experience transformation. But when you make it through the other side, you’ve transformed your life in a huge positive way.

Unlike boot camp, in Network Marketing, there is a way to escape some of the pain.

You can’t escape rejection, people quitting on you and the basics of the game, but you certainly don’t have to go through 5 years of struggle like I did. There is a path to make it easier and that path is knowledge combined with the right actions.

It’s similar to walking through a mine field. If you go it alone and chart your own path, you’re surely to be blown up.

However, if you follow someone who’s spent 26 years going through the mine path, knows every possible way though it, and where every mine is placed so you can avoid them, what happens?

You get through with a lot less pain and misery. And MUCH faster!
