Wesley Girls’ SHS, Akwamuman SHS, Ghana SHS,and 7 others qualify for national onga cook art competition

TEN SCHOOLS QUALIFY FOR NATIONAL ONGA COOK ART COMPETITION.


PMC Media in partnership with the Ghana Education Service (GES) and ONGA as headline sponsor organized a cook art competition for senior high students who offer the Home Economics program in senior high schools in Ghana to test their skills in cooking and culinary art.
The competition is an annual event, which starts at the regional levels where the schools compete for slots at the national event.
This year’s Onga Cook Art shortlisted 27 schools for the preliminary stage and put them into four (4) zones.
Ten (10) schools have qualified for the national competition which will be held from 4th – 9th July at GNAT Hall, Accra. These schools are Wesley Girls’ SHS, Akwamuman SHS, Ghana SHS, Koforidua, Konongo Odumasi SHS, Bolga Girls’ SHS, Aburi Girls’ SHS, Mfantsiman Girls’ SHS, Archbishop Porter Girls’ SHS, Yaa Asantewaa Girls’ SHS, Kumasi and Ghana SHS, Tamale.
