DEVOTION: MARCH 14, 2021

But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us (Romans 5:8).

Seeing the price of our redemption, how can we do other than give ourselves to Him? “By the mercies of God I beseech you,” pleads Paul in Romans 12. Throughout the preceding eleven chapters he has recounted them, divine mercies all the way. Love led Christ to die that we might walk in newness of life. That same love of Christ draws us back to Him again. Faced by love so utterly selfless, it is harder to withhold than to offer ourselves to Him.

To be for years a Christian without total dedication to God is a wholly astounding thing, for were we not bought with a measureless price? Our willing choice therefore is to glorify God in our bodies and spirits, “which are God’s” (1 Corinthians 6:19ff). This is His right, not a favor we are showing Him. I am not my own. Dare I purloin what is His? “Lord, all I have and am and hope for-all is Yours!” Amen!!!

Good Morning. Endeavour to give your ALL to Christ. Stay Safe and Rapturable.
