But as for you, you meant evil against me; but God meant it for good (Genesis 50:20).
God had a special work for Joseph to do: to save Israel from famine and death. His ways with His servant were most exceptional, but in the end Joseph could say to his brethren: “God sent me before you to preserve life.” He understood! The question is, do we? Not only when we are consciously serving Him, but from our earliest beginnings God’s hand is upon us.
His foreknowledge prepared our circumstances even before we were born. He determined whose child we should be, though sometimes we may feel we have been born into the wrong family! Some of us approve of our parents but would like perhaps to change our brothers and sisters, or our other relatives. Joseph could have felt this, and with reason, for they plotted evil against him. But the whole road is prepared for us by God.
He means it all, and He means it for good. If we have not seen God’s hand at work in His choices, we have lost a great opportunity to bring Him praise. Amen!!!
Good Morning. Be Praisefull in ALL circumstances. Stay Safe and Blessed.
