And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness” (2 Corinthians 12:9).

It is significant that Paul says very little about the nature of the “vision and revelations of the Lord” alluded to in this chapter. It would not be profitable, he says, to boast of them, and only against his desires and under strong compulsion does he mention the experiences of “fourteen years ago.” Fourteen years! And yet with many of us, as soon as we have something from God, the whole world knows it! To suppress it even for two years would be a feat. But Paul, even after so long, does not tell us what that vision was, save that it was a further seeing of Christ.

He tells us however of the subsequent “thorn in the flesh” and of God’s gracious answer to his prayer. It is that answer, not the vision, that has brought strength to so many. Amen!!!

Good Morning. May His Peace Protect You and Your Household. Stay Safe and Blessed,
